Funding your undergraduate studies

Your ambition matters. Your access should too.

Funding shouldn’t hold you back from the future you’re working towards. That’s why we offer government-funded loans and flexible payment plans, so you can focus on shaping your career, not stressing about the cost.

Government-funded undergraduate loans

Support that moves with you.

Government-funded loans are available for all full-time and part-time undergraduate courses. This includes both tuition fee loans and maintenance loans to help cover living costs while you study (subject to eligibility). Tuition fee loans are also available for EU students.

Tuition fee loan

Focus on your studies, not your bill. Tuition fee loans for BPP University are capped. You can apply for a tuition fee loan of up to £6,355 (full-time) or £4,765 (part-time) per academic year. If your BPP tuition fee exceeds the loan amount, you’ll simply need to fund the difference.

Maintenance loan

Support that keeps you going. Full-time and part-time students can apply for a maintenance loan to help with living costs (subject to eligibility). These payments are made directly to you in three instalments throughout the year, once you’ve registered onto your course. You’ll start the process by registering via Student Finance England.

Eligibility

Your eligibility for student finance depends on a number of factors including:

  • Your university or college

  • Your course

  • If you’ve studied a higher education course before

  • Your age

  • Your nationality or residency status

Full details are available on the eligibility section of gov.uk

If you’ve studied before

Your path may still be open.
Student finance is typically available only for your first higher education qualification—but there are exceptions. In certain circumstances and on specific courses, you may still qualify for limited support.
