Entry requirements
The entry requirements to study the BSc Applied Management are as follows:
A minimum of 112 tariff points through the following qualifications:
Minimum grade 4/C in English language and maths or equivalent
BBC or equivalent; or
A minimum of two full A-levels and a maximum of four subjects being completed (excluding General Studies)

Digital Business and Emerging Technologies (20 credits)
Explore the complexity of issues when faced with rapidly developing technologies and the resultant impacts on business practice.
Applied Operations Management (20 credits)
The Operations Management module deals with the practical tools and concepts that managers use to deliver those products and services in an efficient and competitive way.
Business Finance for Managers (20 credits)
Build the skills needed to understand financial information for managers in any discipline, to assist them with planning, control, and decision making.
Leadership in Practice (20 credits)
This module is designed to encourage you to explore the world of the leader, building your own understanding and insights, relating these to both your own experiences of leadership and the leadership of those responsible for developing their organisations.
International Business in the Global Economy (20 credits)
Focus on the key and latest topics in international business in the context of the global economy.
Data Insights for Management (30 credits)
This module introduces the principles and practical application of data-driven decision making in a management context. You will explore how to collect, interpret, and analyse data to identify trends, measure performance, and support strategic business decisions.
Entrepreneurial Innovation for Change (30 credits)
In this module you will explore how entrepreneurial thinking and innovation can be used to create positive change, equipping you with the skills to identify opportunities, develop creative solutions, and drive impact in business organisations.
Applied Strategic Management (30 credits)
Learn and develop the skills needed to analyse business environments, evaluate strategic options, and implement effective strategies that support organisational goals and long-term success.
Business Reporting in Practice (30 credits)
Through real-world business scenarios, this module will equip you with the ability to produce impactful reports, communicate recommendations confidently, and contribute to organisational planning and business performance improvement.
How will you study
Contact hours
Students will typically receive 12 contact hours per week and will need to devote at least 36 hours a week to study.
Learning materials
All required learning materials are provided online as part of the course fee. This reflects modern working practices and minimises our environmental impact. Print on demand versions are available for students with specific learning needs.
Types of assessment
The programme features a variety of assessments including coursework and examinations. Coursework is in the form of essays, reports or case studies, while group or individual presentations may be required to assess other competencies. Examinations will be with written elements or multiple-choice questions and may be unseen or part-seen, where assessment material is released in advance.
BPP University offers flexibility in how these assessments are undertaken, and the programmes will utilise online tools where available to deliver assessments. On occasion, some assessments may require attendance at a physical location.
