Loans from third party providers

Private or personal loans are different to more familiar routes of student finance. While there are dedicated lenders who offer products specifically for education, other mainstream funding options could be available depending on your circumstances.

Finding a trusted lender

Personal loans can be used to finance or supplement your studies. These can be taken out in addition to existing student funding from Student Finance UK. If you choose to fund your studies in this way, we would strongly recommend that you only choose reputable loan providers that are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We work with a trusted lender, Lendwise, who are specialists in providing loans for educational purposes and are authorised by the FCA.

Lendwise**

All BPP University courses are eligible for a Lendwise student loan. UK resident students, of any nationality, can borrow towards tuition fees and living expenses for postgraduate or professional qualification studies. Full-time students have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation.

How to apply

The application process is online. BPP will be required to verify your course attendance before any funding is released. Rates depend on an applicant’s overall profile and you can submit an application at any time.

Loan funds requested for tuition will be released directly to BPP and will be applied towards your tuition. Loans for living costs will be paid directly to you. Details on eligibility requirements, interest rates and other key terms of a Lendwise student loan are featured on their website.
