University Academic Quality

BPP University’s Academic Quality mechanisms ensure the University adheres to external regulatory requirements and meets or exceeds national expectations for governance and quality.

Our quality assurance and enhancement structures, and regulations have taken into account the national academic infrastructure for higher education, particularly the OfS On-going Conditions of Registration, the QAA UK Quality Code for Higher Education, and the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, in addition to regulatory guidelines in the area of degree apprenticeships from Ofsted. This page provides information on how academic quality and governance is managed in the University, including providing key contacts, in addition to information on the following areas:

  • The General Academic Regulations and University Policies & Procedures

  • The BPP University Student Handbook

  • Financial Statements and Value for Money

  • The Office for University Academic Quality

  • The Proctor's Office

  • External Review Reports

The University Policies and Procedures have been developed in support of the General Academic Regulations (GARs) and take authority from them.  The University Policies and Procedures are living documents and may be amended with the approval of the Education and Standards Committee subject to them remaining within the scope of the GARs.
