Applying for a law course at BPP

Accept your offer by clicking the link below to pay your deposit. 

How to apply directly with BPP:

  1. ‎Create an account on The Hub

  2. If you already have an account, login with your details

  3. On the left-hand side of the page, click 'My Applications'

  4. Click 'Start new application', then from the dropdown menus, select:
    - The category your programme falls into
    - The programme name
    - The location of study
    - Your chosen start date

  5. Click 'Create Application'

  6. You'll now see your application on the 'My Applications' page

  7. Click 'Start Application'

  8. Enter your details and submit required documents

  9. You can now apply for scholarships via your application account!

Applying through LawCAB?

If you’re applying for our LPC, PGDL, or SQE programmes (full-time only) you can apply through LawCAB.

Please note that there is an application fee of £35 to apply through LawCAB.

How to apply for a scholarship:

  1. Login to your BPP account on The Hub

  2. On the left-hand side of the page, click 'My Applications'

  3. Click 'Start new application'

  4. Under 'What are you applying for?' select 'University Scholarships'

  5. Select the name of the scholarship you wish to apply for

  6. Select the programme, location and start date of your course

  7. Click 'Create Application'

  8. You'll now see your scholarship application on the 'My Applications'

  9. Click 'Start Application'

  10. Once you've completed a section, select 'Mark as complete'

  11. Complete the 'Scholarship Evidence' section thoroughly, including as many examples and details as possible

  12. Once all sections are complete, they should be highlighted green

  13. If any remain unhighlighted, go back through and 'Mark as complete'

  14. Click 'Submit Application'

What evidence do I need to provide?

How to apply for a 'Scholarship Evidence' section contains the following questions. Be sure to read these carefully, answering to the best of your ability and providing as much evidence as possible.

  1. 1. Provide evidence of the skills and traits you possess that would make you an effective legal professional.
    Things to consider: communication, resilience, leadership, teamworking, innovation and/or entrepreneurship.

  2. 2. Describe how you have demonstrated commitment to the legal profession.
    Things to consider: evidence of a strong worth ethic, any relevant work experience (legal or otherwise), pro bono or voluntary work, any other contribution to the profession.

  3. 3. Describe a challenge or an obstacle you have faced and how you overcame it.
    Things to consider: circumstances in which you have demonstrated exceptional discipline, drive, initiative, or resilience in a professional, academic, or personal context.

  4. 4. Describe how you have demonstrated academic excellence. If you hold a 2:2 degree result, please describe any mitigating circumstances here.
    Guidance: in addition to your grades, please describe any other relevant achievements, such as awards, scholarships, and prizes.

Booking a Virtual Open Evening is a great way to get a feel for BPP. You’ll chat with tutors and students and get to know about important things like funding, work experience and securing a training contract, qualifying work experience or pupillage.
