Research shows that QLTT pass rates are significantly higher for candidates who have completed a BPP course of study, either in the classroom or online, at home.

Eligibility:

Please note that if your QLTT Certificate of Eligibility expires and you have not met all the requirements, you will be required to apply for a QLTS Certificate of Eligibility from the SRA and sit the new QLTS assessments – it will be too late to sit the QLTT.

Open evenings

If you'd like to know more about our QLTT courses or meet our QLTT Tutors, why not attend one of our Open Evenings? We start at 6pm with a short presentation, after which you will have an opportunity to ask questions and meet the QLTT Tutors and the QLTT Client Services Team. During the evening we'll offer discounts on list prices of some key products. Light refreshments will also be provided.

Assured Pass Pack

BPP is committed to your success. We want you to have the best possible chance of passing the QLTT Tests. That’s why we offer the ‘Assured Pass Pack’ for each of the QLTT Heads.

Each Assured Pass Pack is made up of a substantially discounted Study Manual, Core Course, Revision Course, Mock Test (for Heads I, II and III) and Test sitting. You will also have access via e-mail to the QLTT tutors.

In addition, all candidates who have booked an Assured Pass Pack will receive access to the Online Core Course Lectures, the Online Revision Course Lectures and the Online Mock Test Lectures.

We’re committed to your success so, in the unlikely event that you are unsuccessful in theTest, we’ll offer you a place on the next Revision Course and Test free of charge.

Fast Track Assured Pass Pack – Head III 

For candidates required to sit Head III, we offer a fast track option, which is available in both London and Manchester. If you are short of study time, this course features all the elements of the Assured Pass Pack condensed into four days.

Classroom courses

Core course

The core course is available for all four Heads and is delivered through a series of interactive lectures. Your tutor will cover the key points of the syllabus and explain the legal principles and concepts involved. You will receive the study manual, slides and a core course workbook containing progress tests designed to enhance your understanding and outline solutions. You will also receive access to the online core course lectures.

Revision course

The revision course is also available for all four Heads of the QLTT and builds on the knowledge and skills acquired from the core course or the core course elements of the home study programme. It provides a focused overview of the syllabus, and targeted preparation for the forthcoming test. You will receive the revision course slides, a revision course workbook and access to the online revision course lectures.

Mock Test (Heads I – III)

Our online mock tests will give you invaluable practice before the actual test(s). You can download and write a past paper at home and we will provide you with an outline solution, which comes with a marking guide you can check your answers against. You'll also receive an online mock test lecture containing key pointers, common pitfalls and tips for success.

The comprehensive QLTT Home Study Programme is available for each of the four Heads of the QLTT and is suited to candidates whose geographical location or other commitments prevent them from attending a classroom course.

Our QLTT Home Study Programme replicates the classroom experience in an online format. You may also opt to attend a revision course in the classroom.

If you complete all the elements of the Home Study Programme and are unsuccessful in the Test, your online access will continue until the date of the next Test, which you can sit free of charge.

How to apply

Before sitting any of the QLTT Tests with BPP, you must have obtained a QLTT Certificate of Eligibility from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

The QLTT Tests are available for candidates who applied for a Certificate of Eligibility from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) before the old regime came to an end on 31 August 2010. Any applications submitted after this will be governed by the new QLTS.

Your Certificate of Eligibility will specify which Heads of the QLTT you need to pass and any additional requirements.
