Equality & Diversity
The Equality & Diversity team work to ensure that across all of its functions BPP is an inclusive place to study. Our aim is to make the learning experience rewarding and enjoyable for all our students; we liaise with Faculty and service areas to ensure that Equality & Diversity is at the heart of everything we do. We do this by taking the time to understand our students' cultures, values and individual characteristics.
We focus particularly on individuals with protected characteristics (Equality Act 2010) and combinations of them:
Age, Disability, Gender Reassignment, Marriage and Civil Partnership, Pregnancy and Maternity, Race, Religion or Belief, Sex (gender) & Sexual Orientation.
*There are many different student groups and societies that represent students with protected characteristics, to find out more please visit http://bppstudents.com
The shared aim for all staff is to ensure that all students and stakeholders, including applicants and alumni, are able to fully engage and participate in everything we do, from initial application to course completion and beyond.
BPP University is a proud member of the Stonewall Diversity Champions programme - meaning we are fully committed to working with Stonewall to improve our learning facilities for our lesbian, gay and bisexual students and staff.
