What is Social Impact?

Social Impact encompasses many things, but at its core it's about making a difference in the community. Whether that is your workplace community or your local area, BPP students and learners have the skills and experience they can use to help other people.

In law, this is often referred to as pro bono work, but social impact is much wider. There is a great deal that our volunteers can contribute to their community, through their knowledge, expertise and skills, which is why our Social Impact Team aims to work with students and learners from across all of our BPP schools.

BPP social impact projects ensure that student volunteers not only deliver valuable services to our communities but use the experience to develop the skills employers want. We want to instil the ethos of 'giving back'. We encourage our students to be socially responsible and to use their skills and talents to support those who need it the most.

Why work with the BPP Social Impact Team?

Our students and learners find working with the Social Impact Team to be a highly rewarding and enjoyable experience. As well as being an opportunity to give back to the community, the experience builds skills and attributes that are highly sought after by employers.
