BPP Launchpad Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

From 1st May 2025 to 30th April 2026, any graduate who has not already accepted an offer for an Award Programme, aged 18 years old or older, who registers on All About Law’s Launchpad (“Launchpad”) at https://accounts.legal-launchpad.co.uk/registration (“Eligible Entrant”) will be entered into the relevant prize draw (“Prize Draw”), with one winner (“Winner”) randomly selected within each three month period (“Quarter”). The Winner of each Quarter’s Prize Draw will receive a £2,500 discount voucher (“Prize”) which can be redeemed against the cost of one of BPP University’s Postgraduate Law Award Programmes listed in Annex 1 (“Award Programme(s)”), provided that they enrol on such programme within 12 months of being notified of winning their Prize.  No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw. However, the Prize can only be applied to one of the Award Programmes and the Winner will be required to pay the outstanding cost of the Award Programme.

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) and BPP’s general terms and conditions which apply in respect of all of BPP’s products and which are available at https://www.bpp.com/terms-and-conditions (“General Terms and Conditions”), apply to this Prize Draw. Please read these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions carefully before entering the Prize Draw and print off a copy for your records.  BPP will not file or otherwise keep a copy of the agreement concluded between you and BPP and a copy of the concluded agreement will not be available from BPP at a future time and date.

By entering the Prize Draw, you are confirming your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions.

If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions will prevail. 

In these terms, “BPP” means BPP University Limited of BPP House, Aldine Place, 142 - 144 Uxbridge Road, London W12 8AA.

Conditions for Entry

1. Eligible Entrants are automatically entered into the Prize Draw by registering on Launchpad at https://accounts.legal-launchpad.co.uk/registration.

2. An Eligible Entrant will be entered into one of the following Prize Draws:

a) Eligible Entrants who register between 1st May 2025 and 31st July 2025 will be entered into a Prize Draw which will take place no later than 7th August 2025; or

b) Eligible Entrants who register between 1st August 2025 and 31st October 2025 will be entered into a Prize Draw which will take place no later than 7th November 2025; or

c) Eligible Entrants who register between 1st November 2025 and 31st January 2026 will be entered into a Prize Draw which will take place no later than 7th February 2026; or

d) Eligible Entrants who register between 1st February 2026 and 30th April 2026 will be entered into a Prize Draw which will take place no later than 7th May 2026.

For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Entrants can only enter one Prize Draw and will only be entered into the Prize Draw at the end of the period in which their registration on Launchpad occurs – entries will not roll over for any subsequent Prize Draws.

3. The Prize Draws are open to residents within and outside of the UK only, excluding employees and relatives of employees of BPP or of its respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, or any other person connected with the Prize Draw.

4. The Prize Draws are open to graduates (not already undertaking a BPP Award Programme) who are aged 18 years old or older.

5. In order to be eligible for a Prize, Eligible Entrants must provide personal details as requested by BPP and which may include name, date of birth, address, telephone number and/or email address. All personal details will be processed in accordance with BPP’s privacy policy, which is available at https://www.bpp.com/privacy.

6. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw. However, the Prize can only be applied to one of the Award Programmes and the Winner will be required to pay the outstanding cost of the Award Programme.

7. Each Winner must enrol on an Award Programme within 12 months of being notified that they have won a Prize.

8. By entering a Prize Draw Eligible Entrants grant to BPP, subject to any relevant provisions of local law, the right to use the entrant’s name, likeness and/or biographical information in any publicity or statement made in connection with the relevant Prize Draw.

The Prize

9. Each Prize consists of a £2,500 discount voucher which must be redeemed against the cost of one  of the Award Programmes (“Prize”).

10. The Prize does not include the remainder of the cost of the relevant Award Programme, assessment fees, travel or accommodation costs.

11. Prize details are correct at the date of publication. BPP reserves the right to substitute any  the Prizes for a prize of similar value should the original Prize become unavailable for any reasons.

Conditions relating to award of the Prize

12. A Winner, at the time of entering the Prize Draw, must not have already accepted an offer in respect of the relevant Award Programme.

13. The Prize can only be redeemed by a Winner in respect of an Award Programme which such Winner enrols on within 12 months of being notified that they have won the Prize.

14. The Prize Draws will take place in accordance with the dates specified in clause 2 (each a “Decision Date”).

15. The Prize is non-transferrable and non-refundable and is subject to availability. There is no cash alternative.

16. Winners will usually be notified that they have won a Prize by email, telephone or post within 28 days of the relevant Decision Date.

17. If, due to circumstances beyond BPP’s control, BPP is unable to provide the stated Prize(s), BPP reserves the right to award a substitute prize.

18. Each Prize is subject to BPP’s terms and conditions which relate to the relevant Award Programme, provided to the Winner by BPP upon their enrolment on the Award Programme.

19. Provision of the Prize is subject to the Winner:

a) confirming their acceptance of the Prize within 14 days; and

b) accepting all terms and conditions relating to the acceptance of the Prize, including but not limited to, these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions and the Award Programme Terms and Conditions. 

20. By entering a Prize Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Entrants may be required to provide written acknowledgement of these terms before receiving the Prize.

21. No responsibility can be accepted by BPP for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete and/or illegible entries will be disqualified. BPP is not responsible for any technical errors in communication networks, internet access or other prevention of entry to a Prize Draw.

22. BPP is not liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation to the winner of the Prize or other entrant that is caused by any circumstance beyond BPP’s reasonable control or by any act or omission of any third party. 

23. Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by its negligence or that of its personnel (for which liability shall be unlimited), BPP shall not be liable to any winner or entrant  for any loss or damage howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with any Prize Draw.

24. The Winner of each Prize Draw will be randomly drawn on the Decision Date from a list of all Eligible Entrants.

25. BPP’s decision in respect of Winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of any such decision. A list of Winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope together with the details of the specific Prize Draw to BPP within 30 days of the Decision Date of the relevant Prize Draw.

26. BPP has the right to select an alternative Winner if:

a)      a Winner is ineligible to enter the Prize Draw for any reason;

b)      BPP is unable to contact a Winner within 14 days  of the Decision Date;

c)      BPP does not receive confirmation of the Winner’s address within 14 days of any request;

d)      BPP does not receive from the Winner all documentation required in connection with the Prize within the deadline notified by BPP; and/or

e)      a Winner does not intend to enrol on an Award Programme within 12 months of being notified of the Prize.

Miscellaneous

27. The Winner must complete all formalities with BPP.

28. The Winner may be required to take part in reasonable post-Prize Draw publicity for BPP and may be filmed, photographed or otherwise recorded by BPP or other third parties for publicity and the Winner’s consent may be requested for the use of their personal data for such purposes.

29. Entry into the Prize Draw assumes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and agreement to be bound by the decisions of BPP.

30. BPP is not liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation to the Winner or other entrant that is caused by any circumstance beyond its reasonable control or by any act or omission of any third party.

31. These Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and BPP and the Winner and any entrant into the Prize Draw irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts with regard to any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.

 

Annex 1 

Award Programme 

For the purpose of this Prize Draw: 

  • Law Conversion Course (PGDL);  

  • Law Conversion Course (Master's);

  • LLM Law Conversion with SQE1; 

  • LLM SQE1&2;

  • SQE1&2 Diploma;

  • SQE1 Preparation;

  • Barrister Training Course (BTC);

  • Barrister Training Course (Master's);

  • Barrister Training Course with Professional Legal Studies; and

  • Barrister Training Course with Professional Legal Studies (Master’s);

shall each individually be considered an ‘Award Programme’ and together, shall be the ‘Award Programmes’.
