Introduction 

BPP’s AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting helps build a strong understanding of how to execute varying financial activities to a high standard.  

It includes valuable information and reports on how to drive the decision-making process. 

Who is this programme for? 

The Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship would suit roles such as: 

  • Trainee Accounting Technician 

  • Cashier Finance Assistant 

  • Purchase Ledger Clerk 


You’ll learn to work methodically, insightfully, and accurately within industry regulations of the accounting profession as an Assistant Accountant.

When you complete the AAT Level 3  Diploma in Accounting apprenticeship, you have the opportunity for a diverse and lasting finance career. You’ll be able to join the AAT professional membership and build transferable skills that can be applied to a range of positions.

Who’s eligible? 

Eligibility is set by individual employers, but typically includes: 

  • Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs, including English and Mathematics 
    OR 

  • Significant work experience 

Learners must be employed in a role relevant to the programme to be eligible to apply.

AAT Level 3 is a globally acknowledged qualification that specialises in leadership and communications, business awareness, ethical standards, and regulation and compliance.

Learners will gain an AAT Diploma in Accounting on completion of this apprenticeship.
