Your degree
Our BSc (Hons) Business Studies with Psychology gives you the practical ability that employers are looking for – as well as an outstanding platform to study further, whether you choose to pursue business or psychology. Geared to creating future leaders, the course gives you a solid grounding of business and management disciplines, along with the ability to apply theoretical and research approaches from psychology in a work environment.

Learn when and where you want
Our Business Studies with Psychology degree is designed to suit you. You can choose to study full-time and graduate in as little as two years.
Seminars are available at different times each week (subject to availability), so if you can't make your regular time, just arrange to attend an alternative one.
Awards when you pause your degree
The degree has a three-tiered award system that gives you respected business qualifications even if you can't complete the whole course. Successfully pass the first 120 or 240 credits and you'll receive either a Certificate or Diploma of Higher Education in Business Studies.

Stage one - Certificate level
This one year general qualification caters for students who:
- Have no previous degree but who through a general understanding of business activities and psychology may wish to progress to make a career in business and/or in further study within the academic community
- Have had previous experience in the business world and now wish to formalise this through the achievement of an academic award with a relevant minor programme to assist with career progression
- Wish to change their career path and seek to develop a career in business that requires further study within the academic community
- Wish to learn to communicate and engage in effective teamwork
It achieves the above by providing grounding in the knowledge of the core concepts, principles and key skills associated within the generic curriculum area of business studies.

Stage two - Diploma level
This is a two year general business qualification that caters for students who:
- Have acquired a Certificate in Higher Education (Business Studies) (or equivalent) and wish to study Business Studies further within an academic environment
- Want to build upon their formalised knowledge and understanding of business studies areas to address more specific areas.
- Wish to aspire to a degree level qualification
- Want to progress to make a career in business and/ or in further study within the academic community
To be awarded the Diploma in Higher Education you need to successfully complete Stage 1 and the Stage 2 modules below:

Stage three - Honour's degree
The purpose of programme is to provide an integrated academic and professional training environment that has been conceived and structured to enable students to gain the knowledge, understanding and skills to pursue and sustain careers in private, public and voluntary sector organisations. It seeks to develop skills appropriate, but not restricted to, graduate careers in business with the potential for management positions and general employability, including self employment.
To be awarded the BSc (Hons) Business Studeies with Psychology you need to successfully complete Stage 2 and the Stage 3 modules below:

Entry requirements
We use the UCAS Tariff to set our minimum entry requirements. The tariff provides a point-based equivalent for a range of qualifications, such as 'A' Levels, NVQs and so on. For more details on the UCAS points system and eligible qualifications, see the UCAS website.
To apply for a place, you will need one of the following:
- 260 UCAS Tariff Points or above, or international equivalent
- Three 'A' Levels graded BCC (Plus grade C or above in English Language GCSE)

International students
BPP welcomes students from all over the world to study our BSc (Hons) Business Studies with Psychology. Our admissions procedure is based on an individual assessment, although criteria vary depending on the programme you wish to study.
If you're an international student, and English is not your first language, you will need to have an IELTS level 6.0 score (or equivalent) in addition to the requirements outlined above. Students with an overall IELTS of 6.0 or equivalent will be required to undertake a compulsory, additional, in-sessional Academic English course during the first term of their studies.

If you start your degree in January or May 2012
- UK or EU students, two- and three-year degrees: £3,225 a year
- International students, two- and three-year degree: £6,500 a year
Fees from September 2012 onwards

Student loans
