ACCA Practical Experience Record Evening

  • Summary: An ACCA representative will present how to log your 3 years practical experience. Susan will cover frequent areas of concern for example… what counts as relevant experience? How far back a student can receive credit? What to do if you don’t work with an ACCA qualified accountant to certify your records. The session will include an informal Q&A session.

CIMA Events

CIMA Membership Application Workshop

  • Summary: Becoming a CIMA member is not as simple as passing your exams. You also need a minimum of 3 years practical experience as a chartered management accountant. Join Jim Callander from CIMA to find out how to log your experience and what qualifies as relevant experience. The main focus will be on what an assessor looks for in a membership application as there is a Face to Face membership assessment day in Edinburgh on Sat 4 Sept. So whilst any student at any stage of study can attend, it’s mainly focussed on those applying for appointments at the F2F session.
