BPP Online Classroom
With our Online classroom you can study at your own pace, with all lectures, online and printed study resources available from the moment you sign up. To add structure to your studies, we have two start dates for a suggested work programme where you will receive weekly emails and scheduled tests to keep you on track. For the June exams these start dates are 9th Jan and 6th Feb. For the December Level 1 exam the cohort start dates are 17th July and 14th August.
Online Classroom Live
The course starts on 28th January for level I and 29th January for level II, with 16 online evening sessions.
Pass assurance
With expert tutor support and outstanding learning materials, we’ll give you the best possible chance of success. However, should you fail your exam, you can attend an equivalent course free of charge (see terms and conditions below).
To qualify you’ll need to provide:
- Proof of exam result
- A full attendance record
Please note, new learning materials are not included but are available at a discounted price. A deferral is not eligible. Pass Assurance can only be redeemed once per each participated training course. The course must be completed within the next available sitting by applicable delegates. Proof of exam result required. A full attendance record is required.
To qualify you must have attended all class sessions on a taught and revision course. You must have attempted the examination and provide us with a copy of your results notification.
Classroom course students will be eligible to attend any BPP taught and revision course towards the next sitting free of charge. Online access will be included. An updated set of study materials will be available at 50% of the full price (2012 and 2013 this is £175 + VAT, full price £350 + VAT). For June Level I candidates resitting in December 2012 there is no requirement to pay for new study materials.
Online classroom students can re-attend the OCR free of charge for the following sitting. As above, updated study materials will be available at a 50% discount.
Not eligible for Pass Assurance
All BPP online and classroom course students who sit and fail a CFA examination automatically qualify to attend any BPP course at the next sitting for a 50% discount off the full published price. This covers online classes, taught and revision classes. Material-only packs are also available at a 50% discount (£175 + VAT, full price £350 + VAT).
The offer does not apply if a student has only attended a 1 day course (i.e. an intro course or a mock day).
For the June Level I sitting only, we also provide a revision retake pack which includes access to the December Level I online content, full tutor support, and attendance at a 3 day revision course. This is priced at £205 + VAT.

Level I
Taught course: Study over eight days or 16 evenings
Choose from weekdays (four phases of two days, which can be combined as two phases of four days), Fridays, Saturdays or evenings. We also offer one-day introductory courses in financial maths.
Revision course: 3 days (6 evenings) plus one mock day
You can choose between weekdays, Fridays, Saturdays or evenings. If you book a revision course you will be notified of mock dates nearer the time.

Level I course structure
Level II
Taught course: Study over seven days or 14 evenings
Choose from weekdays (phases of three days + two days + two days), Fridays, Saturdays or evenings. You can also take a one-day refresher course to ensure that the foundations of Level I knowledge are solid before moving on to Level II.
Revision course: 3 days (6 evenings) plus one mock day
Our 3 day revision courses run on weekdays, Fridays, Saturdays or evenings. All courses include a mock day with tutor debrief session. You will be notified of the mock dates later in the course.

Revision course: 3 days plus one mock day
Our 3 day revision courses run on weekdays, Fridays or Saturdays. All courses include a mock day and the opportunity to have your essay paper tutor marked. You will be notified of the mock dates later in the course.
All course dates are interchangeable, so if you want to attend phase one on Saturdays then switch to evenings for phase two (or even just one evening), you can. All online classroom resources are also provided to classroom students.
Level III course structure
Revision Courses
Regardless of how you’re studying for your CFA® exam, there’s no substitute for thorough preparation. With BPP’s comprehensive 3-day revision courses, you can focus your efforts on the areas which will be in the exam.
Weekday, evening, Friday and Saturday courses are available in London, and a weekday option is also available in Edinburgh. Courses are open to all, no need to have already attended a BPP taught course.
If you can't make the whole course, you can still attend our unique mock days featuring an invigilated mock and live tutor debrief.
Each course will include:
- 3 days of guided question practice - ensure you can apply your knowledge
- Key area recap – revisit the most intensively tested areas with tutor summaries
- Mock day - sit a 3 hour exam in exam conditions followed by a live tutor debrief with question review and final exam tips
- For Level 3 - focus on the essay style questions and every student gets a 3 hour essay paper marked with personal feedback from a charterholder
- Daily questions by email and ongoing tutor guidance emails

Financial Maths Booster Course
We highly recommend sitting this one-day course to prepare you for some of the financial maths that you will encounter within the syllabus.
As well as enhancing your maths skills, it will give you confidence in using the Texas Instruments BAII Plus calculator, which you need for your exam.

Our Online Classroom Live enables you to study at a time, pace and place that suits you – with the same learning materials, syllabus and quality support you get from the classroom course.
Throughout your studies, you'll receive expert support from a nominated tutor who will monitor your progress week by week.
You'll also study with a group of classmates – your 'cohort' – with a dedicated forum where you can chat together, ask questions and exchange tips. You'll also be able to compare your progress to your cohort's with our online benchmarking charts.
With our pre-recorded course lectures, if you want to work at home for particular sessions and attend classes for others, then you can.

Face-to-face classroom training
Our classroom courses begin with optional introductory sessions, followed by the taught phase where we teach you the core syllabus content in a structured, engaging and interactive way. In the month before the exams you can attend our revision courses, which focus on application and exam practice. The revision courses comprise 3 days of structured tuition and one mock day.
We strongly recommend that you attend the taught and revision phases for full exam preparation, but the courses are modular, allowing you to pick the phases that work best for you. Classroom courses are available in daytime, evening, weekend and Friday course options for both taught and revision phases.

Entry requirements
The Chartered Financial Analyst Program (CFA®) has specific entry requirements.
To enrol, you must meet one of the following:
- have a Bachelor's degree or be in the final year of your bachelor's degree
Or
- have four years of qualified, professional work experience
Or
- have a combination of work and college experience of at least four years
In addition you must:
- meet the CFA® professional conduct admission criteria
- be prepared to take the examinations in English
- have a valid international travel passport.
Note that there are no exemptions available from any Level of the CFA Program.
