The CPI to JIEB conversion course builds on your knowledge of insolvency law and practice gained at CPI stage. It is carefully designed to get you to the same level as JIEB candidates taking the Personal Insolvency paper – starting with those JIEB syllabus areas that the CPI doesn't cover, and giving you a practical approach to understanding the differences in exam technique. Although the subject matter of the two qualifications is similar, JIEB takes a very practical approach and goes into greater detail.

Spreading the difficult JIEB exams over two years can increase your chances of first-time success by allowing you to start studying for the prestigious JIEB qualification earlier than before.

It is important to be aware that you will need to take both remaining JIEB papers in the same sitting, once you have successfully completed the Personal Insolvency paper.

Our two-day CPI to JIEB course in London takes an intensive approach to bringing you up to speed and is taught by BPP experts with many collective years of experience.

You can then take optional, but recommended, JIEB Personal Insolvency courses and the mock exam at BPP centres in London, as well as in Birmingham and Manchester.

How to apply

The main requirement for joining the CPI to JIEB conversion course is that you have your CPI qualification. As with other BPP professional qualifications, the decision is yours if you wish to take the JIEB Personal Insolvency exam once you've completed it.

To register for the JIEB exam, you must also satisfy the requirements of your Recognised Professional Body (RPB) or the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS)
