CIPD accreditation

Course fees
The cost for you to study your CIPD Certificate in HR Practice is £2,220. There will also be an additional fee if you wish to join the CIPD as a member.Flexible study options
You'll be taught the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Learning and Development Practice using a combination of face-to-face tuition and distance learning. This makes it easier for you to fit your studies around other commitments.
Fast-track method
With our popular fast-track method you can complete the programme in just six months. After our two separate block weeks of training (9:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday), you will have the knowledge you need to start work on the required assessments straight away.
Your block weeks of training will be three months apart, as each is followed by three months of distance learning. During this time away you will follow the learning materials on a self-study basis. You should spend four to six hours per week on self-study in these periods, using our virtual learning environment to guide your study.
During the block weeks of training you will participate in interactive, tutor-led discussions, which include case studies and exercises that bring the subjects to life. These sessions also give you great networking opportunities where you can draw on the experience of both your tutor and your fellow students.
You will, of course, also have access to tutor and administration support by phone and e-mail throughout your studies.
Practical assessments
You won't have to sit any examinations for the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Learning Development Practice. Instead, we will assess you using techniques from the CIPD National Assessment Bank. These are varied, ranging from in-class presentations to more formal business reports.
This assessment approach helps develop your skills as a HR practitioner by using activities that mirror those you'll be expected to perform at work.
How to apply
Our CIPD Foundation Certificate in Learning and Development Practice course is open to anyone. However you will get the most out of the CLDP course if you either:- Possess some level of relevant experience
- Have access to a training or HR department
- Are in employment and and can relate your written assessment to the workplace
- Students whose first language is not English, must hold a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent)
