BPP Professional Education in Liverpool, is one of the leading finance trainers in Merseyside and provides professional education programmes in accountancy.

Our learning centre is based in Merchants' Court in central Liverpool, in the heart of the legal district, next door to the Crown and Youth Courts and major Chambers and Law firms. It is conveniently located near to car parks, railway and bus stations and is adjacent to the Liverpool One Shopping Centre.

This mixed community gives you the opportunity to interact with a range of people at different stages of their careers.

Our tutors and lecturers are 'professionals teaching professionals'. BPP students will become their contemporaries, and are treated as such from day one. Parking in the city centre can be expensive and we recommend that students consider using public transport where feasible. For those travelling to BPP by car, the Liverpool One car parks are nearby or there are a number of NCP car parks in the area.

Getting here

Wirral line trains stop at James Street (a two minute walk), Northern Line trains stop at Moorfields (a five minute walk) and Main Line trains stop at Lime Street (a ten minute walk). A number of buses stop immediately outside Merchants Court: Wirral buses stop in Cook Street (a two minute walk) and the Liverpool One bus station is a five minute walk.

Computer based exams

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) assessments can be taken at 10:00am every Monday and 2:00pm every Wednesday.

Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Computer Based Exams are held every Friday morning at 9.30am and alternative Friday Afternoons depending on the room availability.

We also hold the AAT CBP Assessments twice a month – alternatively they are booked through the CBP department you can contact them at


BPP in Liverpool regularly holds open days as well as professional and institute events. We also hold free professional and personal development sessions with topics such as Memory Techniques, Exam Techniques, Life After AAT and many more.
