CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice

The CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice offers you a foundation-level CHRP qualification in Human Resources. Whether you're just starting out in HR or looking to take your career to the next level, our dedicated CHRP course will give you the knowledge and skills you need to succeed. What's more, it also offers you professional recognition through membership of CIPD.

The CIPD has expressed the highest possible confidence in the quality of our provision at BPP University College. As a result we have been awarded Direct Claims Status for the CIPD Foundation qualifications. This means we can issue your certificate as soon as you successfully complete your qualification rather than having to wait for an external verification visit from the CIPD.

The award is made by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is not a BPP University College award. BPP University College provides a programme of study to prepare you to achieve the professional body award of the CIPD.

Fast-track study programme

Our fast-track tuition will enable you to complete the course in as little as six months. By delivering your training in two separate week-long 'chunks' – Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4.30pm – you'll quickly learn all the essential knowledge you need to start work on your assessments immediately.

The two weeks of training will include interactive discussions led by your assigned tutor, and will be supported with case studies and exercises to bring the relevant subject matter to life. This will also give you the perfect opportunity to network, share thinking and draw on the experiences of your tutor and fellow students – all of which will further increase your knowledge and enhance your professional prospects.

Each training week will be followed by three months of distance learning, when you will work through relevant course materials on a self-study basis. Typically this will take a minimum of six hours of your time per week. You can use our dedicated virtual learning environment as a guide, and you will of course have access to your tutor and other administrative support throughout this time.
