LLM (International Business Law)

The LLM in International Business Law is ideal preparation for legal professionals whose work involves international business transactions. The course covers a broad range of legal processes to prepare you for transactions with at least one international location, currency or party.

This degree is highly suited to aspiring practitioners whose work involves a cross-border element. It covers capital transactions, the law of international trade, international labour law and the settlement of transnational commercial disputes. You will benefit from a practical examination of the history and sources of international law.

You will have the choice of a range of international business law modules. You will be able to specialise in new and dynamic areas such as the ongoing debate as to the jurisdiction in which the assets and liabilities of a bank are located or jurisdictional issues of cyber trade.
