Masters
- A UK (or equivalent) marketing degree or business degree,
normally at a minimum of lower second class honours;
- Professional Diploma in Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM
Professional Diploma in Marketing);
- Holders of other awards, including those from non-UK
universities and other professional bodies will be considered on
the equivalence of their qualifications.
- Holders of marketing based masters awards or professional
postgraduate marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM Professional
Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing) will be considered suitable to
enter at the final MSc level according to the equivalence of their
qualifications.
Graduate Diploma
- A foundation degree or Higher National Diploma (HND);
- 200 Tariff Points at ‘A’ Level (or international equivalent)
plus 1 year full time work experience in a marketing related
role;
- Professional Certificate in Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM
Professional Certificate in Marketing) plus one year full time work
experience in a marketing related role;
- Holders of other awards, including those from non-UK
universities and other professional bodies, will be considered on
the equivalence of their qualifications.
Candidates who do not
possess any of these entry requirements, but can demonstrate
appropriate relevant experience in a post of management or
professional responsibility may be admitted if, in the opinion of
the Admissions Tutor, they are capable of profiting from and
contributing to the programme.
Accreditation for prior learning may be considered to enable
exemption from some modules.
Those applicants for whom
English is not a first language will be expected to demonstrate a
certified level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
for the Graduate Diploma and IELTS 6.5 or equivalent for the
Masters.
