Valid for: exams until November 30, 2012

Description: Question practice is essential for all papers, but for E2 it is particularly important to be able to put the theories and techniques you have studied into practice. E2 is an integrated paper, but you learn the topics separately, so it is only by doing questions that you can draw the different areas of the syllabus together.

Our Practice and Revision Kit follows the order of the text and there are a large number of questions on all syllabus topics. This is essential, as all questions on the paper will be compulsory.

Our Practice and Revision Kit gives ample opportunity to practice both the 10 mark Section A questions and the longer Section B scenario questions. Two mock exams also reflect this format. Most questions have marking schemes, so that you can see what skills and techniques the examiner values. While there are some marks for textbook knowledge – and you should make sure you get these – many of the marks will be for applying this knowledge to the scenario in the question. Even Section A questions often require this application.

Description: A change is as good as a rest. If you find yourself getting bogged down in the theory of the E2 syllabus, switching to a testing format is an ideal solution. BPP Learning Media's i-Pass gives you this refreshing change of format, motivating you to concentrate.

The i-Pass CD for E2 has a set of questions for each major area of the syllabus. These questions give you practice on those areas that are regularly tested in the exam and where you will earn the bulk of the marks. The objective testing format makes a pleasant change from the written questions you will be practising from the Practice and Revision Kit, and it stops you getting stale. Continually reinforcing learning through a variety of formats is the best way to get to grips with this syllabus.

Price: £16

ISBN: 9780751788792

Valid for: exams until November 30, 2012

Description: The E1 Success CD provides an alternative approach to your revision and is especially useful for learning tricky syllabus areas, where very often a fresh approach helps make the studied subjects crystal clear. Traditionally difficult syllabus areas, such as human resource management, benefit from this medium but all syllabus areas are covered – important as the exam consists almost entirely of compulsory questions.

New syllabus CIMA Paper E2 Enterprise Management is a compulsory paper at the Management level and is the second of three papers progressing up the Enterprise pillar.

It builds on the functional knowledge found in Paper E1 Enterprise Operations toward an integrated view of management in the organisation.  E2 introduces strategic ideas, tools and techniques essential for passing the three strategic level papers. Project Management comprises 40% of the syllabus with the remainder split evenly between Strategic Management and Assessing the Competitive Environment, and Management of Relationships.

Credit will be given to students who passed Paper P5 under the 2005 syllabus against E2 in the 2011 syllabus.
