Although anyone can follow the NVQ route it is most suitable for
those who already work in a finance-related role. You will need to
put together an accounting portfolio, which is a record of relevant
work experience gained in accountancy and can be used to claim
competency in some skills test units.
This route is also suitable if you are between 16 and 22 years
old as you may be able to study under an apprenticeship scheme.
On successful completion of the qualification by either route
you will be awarded the AAT Accounting Qualification.
