Legal Market
London is home to some of the world’s largest international and national law firms as well as many high street and specialist practices.
BPP has two law schools in London, one in Holborn and one in Waterloo.
BPP's Law School - London (Holborn)
BPP’s Law School at Holborn is situated in the heart of legal London, close to the ancient Inns of Court, the Law Society, and the bustle and business of the City.
The
Red Lion Street area near Gray’s Inn has historic associations with
the development of the legal sector in London. BPP’s Law School brings
this association up to date, combining hi-tech teaching facilities with
strong links to the profession.
All of our teaching rooms and the lecture theatre are equipped to the highest standards, including smartboard screens and video recording facilities. The Law School’s library has the longest opening hours of any law library in the country, and is one of the UK’s largest academic law libraries. A comprehensive collection of textbooks, journals and legal research materials is supported by hundreds of fully networked PCs with flat-screen monitors. BPP’s award-winning Pro Bono Centre offers every student the opportunity to undertake valuable voluntary work. The school’s spacious subsidized café and common room is a great place to relax between classes.
Holborn has a wide range of cafes, bars and restaurants offering everything from Japanese take-out to Polish vodka! There are also plenty of shops to cater for everyday needs including supermarket, chemists and bookshops.
Excellent transport links connect Holborn with the rest of London – the school is easily reached from almost anywhere and is only three minutes’ walk from Holborn tube station. Fast, direct underground and bus services run to both the Square Mile and the West End, while several of the major Courts of Justice, and the bars and shops of Covent Garden, are within easy walking distance.

BPP's Law School - London (Waterloo)
BPP’s London Waterloo branch is located just across the river from the City of London, in the South Bank cultural quarter.
This brand new site is equipped to the highest standards with flat screen computers, modern tutorial rooms and lecture theatre and a comfortable common room with subsidized café, table football and pool. The library offers a comfortable study environment and a collection specifically tailored to the needs of your programme.
Close
by, the South Bank offers a host of attractions including the London Eye,
the National Film Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Royal Festival
Hall and the National Theatre. The Hayward Gallery, Tate Modern and Saatchi
Gallery are all within walking distance and London’s IMAX cinema is
at the end of Stamford Street. All these venues offer world-class exhibitions
and performances, and many have their own bars and restaurants with stunning
river views. A short walk across Waterloo Bridge are the bars, shops and
theatres of Covent Garden.
The Law School is only a short distance from Waterloo station, and benefits
from excellent transport connections. The station is on four tube lines,
and buses run direct from Waterloo to the City, Holborn and the West End.
Mainline rail services offer easy national and suburban connections, and
Eurostar services to the Continent leave from the International station.
