Studying the GDL by distance learning
Our distance learning Graduate Diploma in Law is designed for those who would find it difficult to attend regular classes because of work, family, or other commitments or because they live too far from the Law School (either in the UK or overseas).
Our aim is to provide you with the maximum guidance and assistance to support your progress through the materials and the development of your legal analytical skills. You will be provided not only with all the books and materials you require for your course but also a comprehensive study calendar clearly navigating you through what needs to be studied and when.
Through our virtual campus Click! Online you can access a wealth of programme information, careers advice, journals and texts from your home or office computer.
Distance learning students are provided with a comprehensive range of live lectures recorded on DVDs.

BPP prides itself on the support and assistance we provide to our distance learning students - assistance from our staff is only a telephone call or email away!
Legal rules can be learnt from the books and manuals we provide, but how to use those rules to solve realistic legal problems can only be learnt by direct contact with experienced tutors and practitioners. For this reason, our distance learning programme requires attendance for classes on 12 days in each year of the two year programme. Students attending from the UK and all over the world find their classes enjoyable and invaluable preparation for the examinations.
Studying the LPC or BVC by distance learning
BPP provides both the LPC and BVC on a semi-distance learning basis.
The weekend LPC is delivered by classes held on one weekend every 3 or 4 weeks.
The weekend BVC is delivered by classes held on one weekend every month.
