Graduate courses
We work closely with many of the UK's leading law firms and Chambers to ensure that our courses prepare students for life in practice.
As well as our highly regarded Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Bar Vocational Course (BVC), we also offer the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) conversion course for non-law graduates.
Professional Skills Course (PSC)
The Professional Skills Course (PSC) must be completed by all trainee solicitors during their training contracts and before qualification. BPP's PSC builds on the skills developed on the Legal Practice Course and provides a flexible study programme to suit individuals.
BPP's Professional Skills Course is one of the most flexible courses available. We have core subjects available in locations around the country (and the list of venues is growing all the time) plus we have a vast range of elective subjects for you to choose.
If you need help putting together your PSC programme, our specialist PSC advisors can provide you with all the help you need. Call us on 0161 728 1778 or click here for more information about the BPP Professional Skills Course.
Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT)
The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) is a conversion test which enables lawyers qualified in certain countries outside England and Wales, as well as UK barristers, to qualify as solicitors. In an increasingly competitive world, lawyers with a dual qualification will be able to offer a more comprehensive service to clients.
BPP is one of only three institutions validated by The Law Society of England and Wales to award the test. For more information about BPP's QLTT course click here.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
The Law Society requires all solicitors in England and Wales to complete 16 points of CPD training per year.
With the BPP PD Passport you could save up to 50% off the cost of your CPD training. Almost 2000 businesses/firms - including 59 of the Top 100 Firms - already benefit from the exceptional discounts available with the BPP PD Passport. Click here for more information about the BPP PD passport.
Join them now - call our Client Care Team on 0161 728 1778 to purchase your passport. Passports are effective from the date of the first course attended. Trainee Passports are effective until the date of qualification as a solicitor and do not apply to PSC courses.
