CIPD People Management and Development (PMD)

Students in the classroomCIPD People Management and Development (PMD) is one of the four fields that you must complete to obtain CIPD Graduate membership.

The programme examines the strategic view and how both HR and training fit into an organisation. We would recommend students study PMD and APD together as this allows an earlier completion of their studies. This is a result of an element of home study for APD which can be undertaken along with the PMD workload.

Once a student has completed People Management and Development they will gain Licentiate membership of the CIPD.
