Caroline Macfie, Livingston is located approx 20 miles west of Edinburgh, on the road to Glasgow.

The team

Fourteen staff are based in the Livingston office with our National Sales Account Manager working from home and traveling throughout the UK.
Based in Livingston there is a development team (10 people), Sales & Marketing people (2) Systems Administration/technical support = 1, Management & Office Administration = 2.

The development, marketing and support of the BPP LM elearning products (generic and ilearn ranges) is undertaken from the Livingston office.

Our main customers are universities and colleges and, up to the end of 2006, firms of accountants (who purchased the ICAEW Devolved law product). The Open University is one of our biggest customers; recently we have had a £15K order from Southbank University for international products.

At the moment it is conference season, with the sales and marketing team attending academic and promotional conferences. (British Accounting Association Annual Conference (3-5 April), European Accounting Association Annual Conference (25 – 27 April), the AAT Annual Conference (26-27April)).

These conferences are an excellent forum for promoting materials and generating leads from the academic market.

The development team is currently working on the new ACCA syllabus, preparing for the tax products update and creating the new Business Mentor product.

BPP Learning Media is a member of the British Institute for Learning & Development, the elearning Alliance and the Federation of Small Businesses, these organisations provide us with opportunities for networking, marketing and provide industry awareness.
