The Corporate Finance Qualification is broken down into three stages, all of which have to completed in order to complete the qualification, unless you have the appropriate exemptions.  In addition to passing the exams, you will also be required to have the relevant work experience in order to receive the Corporate Finance designation.

CISI Certificate in Corporate Finance

The first stage of the qualification is the CISI Certificate in Corporate Finance.  This tests a candidate’s understanding of basic corporate finance concepts and the regulatory environment.

ICAEW Diploma in Corporate Finance

The second stage is the Diploma in Corporate Finance which assesses knowledge of interpretation of financial statements, valuation, changes in control, debt and equity and ethics/ governance. 

Advanced ICAEW Diploma in Corporate Finance

The final stage is the Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance which covers higher level skills and includes an assessment of the student’s ability to make strategic recommendations and analyse more complex problems and cases studies.
