Mgr. Tatiana Hargašová, ACCA

Tatiana is the Managing Director of BPP Professional Education in Slovakia. She previously worked for KPMG Financial Services Group, specialising in the audit of banks, investment funds, leasing and asset management companies. Tatiana teaches a variety of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Finance courses both in English and Slovak languages across the region.

Richard Gibbon, BA FCA

Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Manchester, UK. He was then Senior Manager of the Audit and Valuation Department in PwC in Romania and Managing Director of PwC in Kazakhstan. Richard joined BPP in 1999, when, together with Erica Gibbon, he established the BPP office in Slovakia. Richard teaches Financial Management and Management Accounting.

Ros Aala, MA DipCG DipIFR FCA

Ros qualified as a member of the ICAEW in 1996 while working in Audit for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK. He joined the BPP team in Slovakia in 2000 and specialises in teaching Audit, Corporate Governance, IFRS and Leadership Skills. He is also responsible for BPP operations in Bulgaria, Slovenia and Greece. In his spare time, Ros conducts Leadership and Development courses for the Air Force in the UK.

Ing. Michaela Barabásová, ACCA

Michaela worked in the Assurance and Advisory Department of Ernst & Young before joining BPP Slovakia in 2008. She has extensive experience across several industry sectors, in particular, debt factoring and IT. She teaches Accounting under IFRS as well as Performance Management and Finance courses for Non-Financial Managers.

Ing. Pavel Hrívnak ACCA

Pavel has experience in wide range of industries: software development, manufacturing, real-estate and service. He previously worked for Deloitte in Slovakia, Baltic states, Belarus and Georgia and later in KPMG  as an audit director. Pavel teaches a variety of Financial Accounting and Audit both in English and Slovak languages and he has an interest in Management Strategy and the Psychology of People Development.

Ing. Marieta Hanáková ACCA

Marieta completed successfully her ACCA exams in June 2004. She worked as an audit assistant with Ernst and Young Slovakia for 4 years. Since then, she has been working as a financial specialist for SAP placed at headquarters in Walldorf, Germany. She is primarily responsible for corporate software revenue recognition under US GAAP and subsidiaries support in financial reporting issues for Middle, Eastern Europe and Russia. She teaches financial reporting and audit.

Lubica tutorIng. Mgr. Ľubica Hrehovčíková, DipIFR

Ľubica worked as a Finance Manager for a leading European real estate investment and Asset Manager before joining BPP. Ľubica has broad business experience in financial controlling, financial services and accounting across several industry sectors especially in real estate, production plants and mutual fund investment company. She teaches management accounting, financial reporting and performance management.

Erica Gibbon, BA FCA

Erica qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) while working in Audit and Tax with BDO Binder Hamlyn in the UK. She was subsequently Management Accountant and Human Resource Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Romania before setting up BPP operations in Slovakia in 1999. Erica specialises in teaching IFRS, Accounting and Tax, and as a qualified practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming she also has a keen interest in Personal Development Coaching.

Ing. Juraj Chrenko, ACCA

Juraj is currently Head of the Accountancy and Accountancy Methodology Department in CSOB Bank and CSOB Insurance. Prior to this he worked in the Financial Services Group of KPMG Slovakia. He is a guest lecturer for BPP, teaching Management Accounting, Financial Management and Banking.

Peter Crisp, BA AKC PgDip Barrister at Law

Peter is the Chief Executive and Dean of BPP Law School in London. Peter is a qualified Barrister, specialising in Land Law. Before joining BPP in 1997 he practiced at the Chancery Bar across a spectrum of law, including mortgages, wills, probate, intellectual property and company law. In December 2007 Peter completed the Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors ACCA.
