Edward is one of our most experienced lecturers and has been with BPP since the early 1990s. During this time, he has also lectured in Sligo and managed his local credit union. Edward lectures a wide range of courses for IATI, CPA and ACCA. He is a very popular tutor and his pass rates consistently exceed the national average. Edward specialises in the fields of Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.


 

Garret MulvinGarret Mulvin

Garret is a full-time tutor with BPP. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland (ACA) and holds a Bachelor of International Commerce Degree (with Italian) from the National University of Ireland. He has worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, one of the world’s big four accounting firms, along with gaining further experience in the financial services sector in Bermuda. Garret specialises in the areas of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Management. Since his commencement with BPP, Garret has consistently exceeded national pass rates.

 


Veronica HylandVeronica Hyland

Veronica has a wealth of practical and academic experience. In 2004, Veronica joined a law firm and has been working in the legal field in areas including conveyance, probate, and litigation. In 2007, she joined the BPP lecturing team and since then has lectured students in Corporate Laws and Corporate Governance. Veronica’s students consistently achieve excellent pass rates. She is a very motivated and enthusiastic tutor and is very popular among students.

Michael BarryMichael Barry

Michael has over 15 years of international lecturing experience at both professional and academic levels. He joined BPP Ireland in 2003 after returning from a seven-year project in South-East Asia. Michael specialises in both Advanced Financial Management and Management Accounting across a range of programmes (CIMA, ACCA and CPA) in our Dublin, Galway and Limerick centres. Since joining BPP Michael has been a favourite with our students, many of whom have achieved firsts in Ireland and even firsts-in-the-world positions. He has also been heavily involved in helping to further develop academic programmes in ICD and BPP.

Mick O'CallaghanMick O’Callaghan

Mick is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and holds a Fellowship of CIMA (The Chartered Institute of Management Accounting). He has over 25 years 'hands-on' experience in a wide range of service and production roles. He has worked in the Middle East, Holland, and Ireland. He has held a range of Engineering and Business Management roles with companies such as Shell, Saudi Oil, Irish Steel and Input-Output (NYSE I-O). Mick is Principal and Director of Value Added Consulting Ltd, a specialist training and consulting company. Since 1994, Mick has lectured primarily ACCA and CIMA students in Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, IT, Strategy and Risk Management subjects. Mick is an extremely popular lecturer and consistently achieves high pass rates.

Karl O’Flanagan

Karl has a wealth of experience and began his career working with Heineken Ireland, where he was employed for 14 years in a variety of marketing/commercial roles. Karl later set up own marketing consultancy, Integrated Commercial Solutions, and most recently he set up OMF Publicity in 2006 – a full service advertising public relations and design company. Karl is a  Plato facilitator and lecturer (voluntary role) and lectures in our Limerick centre. Karl’s professional and consultancy experience is reflected in the classroom.

Joe Donovan

Joe has been a qualified FCA since 1989, and has been working in Industry ever since with a number of high profile companies including, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Glaxo Smithkline. Joe is currently the Finance Manager for  Bord Gais Eireann. He has lectured with BPP for over 6 years as well as being a part time lecturer with PAL and The Munster Business Insitute.


 Ger McCarthy

Ger has over 20 years experience in Public Sector financial management, beginning in the Health Sector and more recently in Local Government. He has been lecturing since 2002 and specialises in Management Accounting and Financial Management. Throughout his career at BPP, Ger has had numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed students nationally. Ger is an extremely popular tutor with passrates well exceeding the national average.
