The diploma programme addresses international financial reporting and first-time application of international financial reporting standards. It is intended as a conversion course for professional accountants already qualified or experienced in country-specific financial reporting standards. 

DipIFR and CPD

If you are an ACCA member, studying for another qualification can count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) as long as the qualification is relevant to your learning and development needs.

The course alone provides up to 30 units; successful completion of the exam delivers another 12 units.

DipIFR Objectives

In the European Union, all listed companies must prepare consolidated company accounts according to IFRS. Aware of the importance of international accounting and financial reporting standards in global business, ACCA has created the Diploma in International Financial Reporting.

DipIFR Assessment

The DipIFR assessment is based on a three-hour written exam in two sections. You can sit this exam twice a year, in June and December, at ACCA's exam centres. The pass mark is 50%.
