The Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) is
awarded by the ICAEW. It enables people from a wide range of
business occupations to have a shared level of understanding of
finance, accounting and business.
The Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business is
structured into six modules taken from the first stage of the
ICAEW’s ACA qualification.
Modules include:
- Business and Finance
- Management Information
- Accounting (mandatory)
- Law
- Assurance
- Principles of Taxation
The modular structure gives students flexibility to take modules
in any order, which means subjects relevant to their role can be
taken first. All six modules are assessed by computer-based exams,
which can be sat all year round.
