CIMA P1 - Fundamentals of Management Accounting
Paper P1 is concerned with measuring the performance of a business.
The syllabus is split into the following four areas:
- Cost accounting systems
- Standard costing
- Budgeting
- Control and performance measurement of responsibility centres
P1 requires a good understanding of the underlying concepts and techniques in all four areas and the ability to apply these to practical situations, evaluate them critically and interpret the results.
