BPP celebrates success for CIMA students

BPP Professional Education today announced its CIMA accountancy students have scooped 10 of the 15 global prizes awarded by CIMA for their performance in the November '07 examinations. This is the sixth year running that BPP students have won more prizes than all other training providers combined and the fifth consecutive sitting that a BPP student has been awarded the TOPCIMA prize.

  • 4 (or 60% ) prize winners from CIMA's Managerial examinations
  • 3 of 4 individual Strategic paper prizes
  • 2 of 3 Strategic level aggregate prize winners for overall performance at P3, P6 and P9 - including 1st and 2nd placed winners globally. BPP also trained 6 of the global top ten.
  • The TOPCIMA prize winner

The successful CIMA candidates were based at BPP's study centres in London, Bristol, Reading, Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds.

"We congratulate all of our successful candidates in the latest CIMA exams. This shows that BPP is offering an extremely high quality of training at every level of the CIMA qualification. These results reinforce the need to prepare thoroughly for all exams, attending taught and revision courses as well as making the most of the structured support offered by BPP. All of our Managerial and Strategic Level prize winners had attended both Taught and Revision courses with BPP. It is important to highlight that there is a clear correlation between practical study support and exam success, and naturally we're delighted to have helped so many students get a step closer to their accountancy aspirations."
