Registration with CIMA

To become a CIMA student and be eligible to sit the CIMA exams, you will need to complete the online registration process via www.cimaglobal.com 'Getting Started' and send CIMA certified copies of your highest level educational certificates and transcripts.

To certify the copies of your certificates and transcripts you will need to get a responsible person - such as your manager or a lecturer - to sign them as true copies of the originals. All certified certificates and transcripts must be in English.

Enrolling on a BPP course does not register you with CIMA.

Minimum entry requirements - UK candidates

CIMA operates a 'Flexible Entry' policy meaning that there are no minimum entry requirements, but you will need a good standard of maths and be competent in the English language before you start.

Graduate Accelerated Routes

CIMA offers a series of Graduate Accelerated Routes to their professional qualification, which is designed specifically for graduate entrants.

  • Graduate Accelerated Route One - The route for graduates of CIMA fully accredited programmes as listed on the CIMA exemptions database.
  • Graduate Accelerated Route Two - The route for graduates of related but not CIMA accredited programmes, who may be eligible to a specified range of CIMA exemptions.
  • Graduate Accelerated Route Three - The route for all other graduates is through Computer Based Assessment at Certificate level.

Entering for the CIMA Exams

Exams for CIMA's professional qualification are held in May and November. All exam entry is online. You will be sent emails to remind you of the exam entry deadlines.

Registration on a BPP course does not enter you for the CIMA exams.
