Help and advice from your Student Advisers

The Student Advice Team is your first point of contact on non-academic queries. They are a professional and experienced team offering confidential and non-judgmental advice on all areas of student concern including financial issues, health services, international student support and referrals to counselling services and learning support.

The Student Advisers are based at different teaching sites across the UK and offer advice in a variety of formats to suit all BPP University students: phone, email, face to face drop-ins and appointments, workshops and Skype.

International student advice

Based in five locations the International Student Advice team offer specialist advice for BPP International Students. Their aim is to help international students to get the best experience of living and studying in the UK.

They are able to provide advice on a wide range of issues including:

  • Preparing to arrive in the UK
  • Induction for living in the UK e.g. where to find essential services
  • Immigration support up to OISC level 2 with PBS student visa queries i.e. visa extension, dependents support, administrative review
  • Non PBS Visa queries i.e. Schengen letters and short term visa queries
  • Work based queries, i.e. working conditions, hours permitted, and national insurance

The International Student Advisers provide support to all BPP University campuses via face to face drop ins, appointments, e-mail and telephone support.
