Postgraduate funding

Our LLM programmes are eligible for postgraduate funding up to £10,280 through the Student Loans Company. Postgraduate funding can only be used once, so if you have any queries about how to fund your postgraduate law programme, please contact our admissions department.

LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors)

Incorporating the LPC, our Master’s provides the essential training needed to become a solicitor.

LLM Legal Practice (Barristers)

Incorporating the BPTC, our Master’s prepares you for life as a barrister

LLM [Law Conversion]

Our LLM provides you with the necessary training to convert your non-law degree, to progress onto the BPTC or LPC.

Scholarships and Bursaries

We welcome students who have passion, drive and a desire to succeed. This is why we offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to support students who may not have the finances to complete a postgraduate law qualification. Across our Law School, we have over £850,000 worth of scholarships and bursaries available including:

Career Guarantee Scholarship
(GDL and LPC)
Worth up to £2,500 for each successful candidate

Cohen Excellence Award
(GDL and LPC)
Worth up to £4,000 per students depending on the location of study. Available to those who apply for the Career Guarantee Scholarship

Law School Dean's Scholarship
(GDL and LPC)
Awarded by the Dean of BPP University Law School, this scholarship is worth up to £5,000

Vice Chancellor's Scholarship
(All programmes)
Covers the full cost of tuition throughout the duration of the programme
