The BPP Legal Advice Clinic (BLAC) provides free legal advice to members of the public.

What BLAC offers you?
If you contact our clinic one of our student case workers will telephone you to take the details of your case and the clinic manager will assess whether it is suitable for our students. If we are able to help you, we will contact you to arrange an appointment. (Please note that our service is limited by expertise, resources and availability, and unfortunately we cannot help everyone who contacts us.)
At your appointment you will meet two student advisers. Following this meeting your appointed advisers will research the particulars of your case, supervised by qualified legal professionals, and then send you a letter setting out their legal opinion, which you will receive in approximately two weeks. (Please note BLAC does not offer a drop in session and no advice is given during the appointment itself.)

The BPP Legal Advice Clinic (housing)
The BLAC Housing Clinic is here to assist if you need legal advice regarding the following issues:
- Leaseholder disputes concerning service charges, administration charges and major works charges.
- Various landlord and tenant issues including rent deposit disputes and management company issues.
- Preparation for hearings at the Residential Property Tribunal Service.
- Representation of clients before the Residential Property Tribunal and the Rent Assessment Committee.
