International Foundation Certificate (IFC) & Extended International Foundation Certificate (EIFC)

Entry Requirements:

  • Overall marks of 50 to 54% plus at Higher Secondary School level in relevant academic subjects and achieved a minimum of 50% in Maths in SSC or
  • Polytechnic / College duration of 2 years at 50 to 59% plus and achieved a minimum of 50% in Maths in SSC.


English language:

  • Extended IFC: IELTS score of 5.0 in all components or equivalent
  • IFC: overall IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent

 

 

Undergraduate programme requirements

To apply for an undergraduate (three year duration except BSc (hons) Banking and Finance) programme at BPP you need to have one of the following:

  • Overall marks of 55% plus at Higher Secondary School level in relevant academic subjects and achieved a minimum of 50% in Maths SSC or
  • Polytechnic / College duration of two years at 60% plus and achieved a minimum of 50% in Maths SSC.

English language:

  • For Business Degree: HSC English 70% plus / Cambridge GCSE ('O' Level) English C / IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 6.0 in writing) / TOEFL 550 (paper based); 213 (computer based); 79 (internet based). On this basis, the student will be expected to attend compulsory In-Sessional English classes for the first term of studies at no additional cost.
  • For Higher Education Certificate in Health: HSC English 70% plus / GCSE (O Level) English C / IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 6.0 in writing) / TOEFL 550 (paper based); 213 (computer based); 79 (internet based)/ PTE equivalent.
  • For Law Degree: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 575 (paper based); 232 (computer based); 90 (internet based) / Cambridge GCSE ('O' Level) English C.

To apply for an undergraduate (Accelerated two year programme and BSc (Hons) in Banking and Finance standard duration) programme at BPP you need to have one of the following:

  • Overall marks of 65% plus at Higher Secondary School level in relevant academic subjects and achieved a minimum of 60% in Maths in SSC or
  • Polytechnic / College duration of two years at 70% plus achieved a minimum of 60% in Maths in SSC.

English requirements:

  • For Business Degree: GCSE (O Level) English B /IELTS 7.0 (with minimum 6.5 in writing)/ equivalent TOEFL/PTE/ Cambridge equivalent.
  • For Law Degree: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 575 (paper based); 232 (computer based); 90 (internet based)/ GCSE (O Level) English B/ equivalent PTE/ equivalent Cambridge English Language qualification.~

 

Pre-Masters Diploma

 

Entry requirements:

  • NQF Level 5 qualification or
  • HND or equivalent

English language:

  • IELTS score of 5.5 in all components or equivalent

 

Postgraduate programme requirements

To apply for a postgraduate conversion course e.g. MSc Management all pathways or MSc International Marketing at BPP you need to have one of the following:

  • Bachelor Degree minimum of three years with a minimum grade of 55%.
  • Postgraduate Diploma at overall level of 50% plus.
  • Taught Masters Degree minimum of two years with minimum grade of 55%. A recognised Professional Qualification.
  • Applicants without a first degree but with suitable relevant work experience may also be considered for some Masters programmes.

English requirements:

  • IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 575 Paper Based, 232 Computer Based, 90 Internet Based/ proof that their higher education was taught and assessed in English medium (in this case, your English language ability will be assessed through BPP’s English language test) .

Pre-sessional and In-sessional English language programmes

BPP offers English language support for students who do not meet the English language entry requirements for undergraduate or postgraduate degrees.


ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants)

Entry requirements:

  • Two 'A' Levels and 3three GCSEs or Equivalent in five separate subjects.

OR

  • Mature Student Entry Route (MSER) Replacement

The introduction of the Diploma in Accounting and Business, with open access through Foundations in Accountancy will replace the current Mature Student Entry Route (MSER) of the ACCA Qualification for students who do not meet the ACCA Qualification minimum entry requirements. Students must pass FAB, FMA and FFA (in no particular order) before progressing onto F4 of ACCA.

Registration:

  • Students must register with ACCA either

1) ACCA Knowledge if met the minimum entry criteria OR 2) FIA Diploma in Accounting in Business if minimum entry criteria is not met.

English language:

  • Students whose first language is not English need an IELTS score in all components of at least 5.5 or equivalent.
  • Student with Cambridge International GCSE in English language (grade C or above) will also be accepted.

GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law)

Entry requirements:

  • UK Degree Holder: Minimum 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject from a recognised UK institution.
  • International honours degrees: Equivalent to minimum 2:2 UK honours degree (or above) and Certificate of Academic Standing (COAS) from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or Bar Standards Board (BSB).

English language:

  • Students whose first language is not English need an IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with a minimum level of 6.0 in each component.

LPC (Legal Practice Course)

Entry requirements:

  • Qualifying law degree (minimum lower Second Class Honours). Or
  • Qualifying non law degree (minimum Lower Second Class Honours) and GDL or CPE. Or
  • Similar qualification such as ILEX/FILEX.
  • Obtain a Completion of Academic Stage from SRA.

English language:

  • Students whose first language is not English need an IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with a minimum level of 6.0 in each component.

BPTC (Bar Professional Training Course)

Entry requirements:

  • Qualifying law degree (minimum lower Second Class Honours). Or
  • Qualifying non law degree (minimum lower Second Class Honours) and GDL or CPE.
  • Membership to an Inn Court by 31 May of the year you wish to start the BPTC.

English language:

Students whose first language is not English or Welsh need an:

  • IELTS score of 7.5 in all components of the test. Or
  • TOEFL (internet based) score minimum 28 in each part of the test. Or
  • Pearson Test of English (academic) score of minimum 73 in each part of the test.
