Course Summary


This course will develop your knowledge and skills of the general legal framework relating to business. Our courses are designed to focus on the most important aspects of the syllabus including:

  • Essential elements of the legal system
  • The law of obligations
  • Employment law
  • The formation and constitution of business organisations
  • Capital and the financing of companies
  • Management, administration and regulation of companies
  • Legal implications relating to companies in difficulty or in crisis
  • Governance and ethical issues relating to business.

Taught Options

  • Day Release Ideal for students who are able to take a day off a week to study.
  • Block Release Ideal for students who prefer to take study leave in discrete blocks. Each paper is taught over 3–5 days in two phases.
  • Evening Course If you're unable to attend weekday courses and wish to keep weekends free then the evening course may be the option for you.
  • Saturday Course If you are in full-time employment or have other commitments that make week day courses difficult, you can opt for a Saturday course.
