Study Materials
F2 is one of the three papers that form the ACCA Knowledge level. It teaches the basics of management accounting. The syllabus has six sections:
- The nature and purpose of cost and management accounting
- Cost classification, behaviour and purpose
- Business mathematics and computer spreadsheets
- Cost accounting techniques
- Budgeting and standard costing
- Short-term decision-making techniques
Much of this was part of Paper 1.2 under the previous syllabus. Pricing has been removed from this new syllabus and budgeting has been added.
International is now the ACCA main stream and paper F2 uses International terminology.
