The ACA qualification has given me the technical knowledge to understand the accounts preparation and audit work I carry out for small/medium sized clients of Monahans. The individual modules at the Professional Stage allow you to focus wholly on that specific technical area. Then at the Advanced Stage all the modules are brought together through integrated questions. This allows you to apply your knowledge to situations that are likely to arise at work.
BPP Tutors
The tutors at BPP are extremely knowledgeable about their subjects. They are approachable and easy to relate to and make the course interesting and fun without losing focus on the exams.
Study materials
The materials were easy to use with many worked examples, which helped me to understand the material. There were also lots of practice questions to help prepare me for the real exam.

I am currently working for haysmacintyre, as an Audit Senior. The role is very varied, covering both not for profit and corporate clients.
I trained at BPP King's Cross. The teaching I received while at BPP was of a very high standard, particularly at the Advanced Stage. I found the tutors to be very approachable if I had any problems with my studies, proactive in arranging one-to-one tuition and gave time to run through the mock exams, which was extremely useful in improving my exam technique. This is something that is critical at the Advanced Stage.
I think that the time I spent in college helped to put the audit work I am currently doing into context, allowing me to see how the issues, which are specific to the clients I am working on, interact with the ACA syllabus as a whole.
