Course Summary

The aim of this module is to provide students with an understanding of how businesses develop and implement strategy. Set at the Application Level of the syllabus, the underlying purpose of the module is to allow students the opportunity to demonstrate their syllabus knowledge in a practical context.

As with most of the other modules, ethics is given far greater prominence. Although not mentioned explicitly, ethics permeates all areas of the Business Strategy syllabus.

Our courses are designed to focus on the most important aspects of the syllabus including:

  • Identification and analysis of the consequences of a business's current objectives, market position and direction
  • Evaluation of the likely consequences of strategic choices and recommend strategies to meet the objectives of a business
  • Development of a business plan to achieve a business's strategic objectives, recommend an appropriate organisational structure and explain the process of effective change management
