Steps to Success programme
Our complete classroom study solution has been specifically put together by our experienced Tutor Team to meet the needs of your students. The ACA exam involves gaining knowledge, applying what has been learned and practising to achieve a greater depth of understanding to ultimately succeed.
Our courses have a variety of start dates and durations to allow for the fact that some students prefer longer gaps between courses to consolidate their knowledge. This also allows them to fit their study around busy periods at work.
1 - Pre-course phase
Our pre-course phase is designed to help your students settle in and prepare for the study ahead. For your students who are new to accountancy, we provide a Double Entry or Double Dutch Beginners Guide to Bookkeeping. To refresh maths knowledge we also provide a Maths Kit for those who are taking the Management Information paper.
Those students who are returning to study, we provide pre-course guidance to identify key areas from previous studies.
2 - Taught phase
Our taught phase combined with support outside the classroom ensures your students have a thorough understanding of the syllabus. Our tutors will deliver training using a mixture of official ICAEW and innovative BPP Learning Media study materials.
3 - Revision phase
The revision phase of our Steps to Success pays particular attention to focused exam preparation and improving exam technique.
The aim of our revision courses is to help your students:
- Strengthen their knowledge of key syllabus areas
- Reinforce their exam technique with question practise and analysis
- Build confidence by sitting practice exams under exam conditions, which are marked and debriefed.
