Syllabus
The ACA qualification entails:
- Computer-based assessments (e-assessments) in the early stages of the qualification to give you more time later to focus on the core areas of the syllabus.
- Greater flexibility in the choice of topics you want to study.
- Enhanced emphasis on the difference between international and national accounting standards.
- Greater emphasis on ethics.
The qualification comprises two stages: Professional and Advanced.
- Professional Stage - Knowledge Level gives you the core technical skills.
- Professional Stage - Application Level allows you to demonstrate your knowledge in a practical context.
- Advanced Stage requires students to apply knowledge to business scenarios and sit a case study.
