Career history

Jane's first seat in her training contract was in the Commercial Property Department. She then moved into litigation and remained in contentious work for the remaining three seats in her training contract, including:

  • general commercial litigation
  • personal injury
  • clinical negligence
Jane also has experience in both the claimant and defendant work. Jane qualified in the personal injury and clinical negligence department, where over the next two years she specialised in complex personal injury cases and clinical negligence work. Since leaving practice, Jane has built up nine years' experience teaching civil litigation and personal injury and clinical negligence. She now jointly runs the full-time LPC in Holborn as well as sitting on the Academic Appeals Board.
