Martin Taylor

CEO Professional Qualifications

Martin joined Motorola in 1993 as a graduate trainee in their finance department.

Motorola chooses BPP to deliver its accountancy training and therefore Martin’s experience with BPP started as a student almost 20 years ago. Having gained CIMA membership in 1995, Martin held numerous positions across the finance function over the five years with Motorola, including stints in UK and Spain.

It was also during this time that his first training delivery occurred as he was involved as an in-house trainer for a corporate wide five-day programme. Martin left Motorola in 1998 to join Orange in London as their Group Financial Analyst Manager.

However within the year, the call to training was too great and he left in 1999 to join BPP.

Martin has taught on a wide variety of management and strategy papers and was awarded CIMA's Tutor of the Year award in 2004. Since then he has held a number of different management positions within BPP, including Sales and Marketing Director, MD of London centres and now culminating in his current role as CEO BPP Business School.

Martin is married with three children, and when possible still tries to find time to play the odd game of golf or two.
