Prior to moving into his current position, Gregg was the Managing Director of BPP’s Professional Development business which develops and delivers a wide range of short-course CPD programmes across the UK targeted at accountants, lawyers and City professionals.
During this time, BPP integrated the CPD activities of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), under the Mastercourses brand, with its own to create the largest provider of professional development courses for accountants in the UK.
In addition to his management role, Gregg teaches courses for accountants focused on the use of data and analysis to improvement business decision-making and performance.
Before joining BPP, Gregg was the UK Managing Director of DBM Plc, a private-equity-backed training and HR services company and a leading UK provider of career transition and leadership development services.
Prior to that, Gregg worked for eight years in London as a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, one of the leading global management consulting firms.
At Booz Allen, Gregg’s assignments focused on strategy, large-scale organisation transformations, and performance improvement; his clients included Volvo, Ford Motor Co., HJ Heinz, Diageo, Unilever, Magnet, Johnson Controls Inc., and the UK Department for Work and Pensions.
Gregg has an MBA from London Business School (1996) and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa (1988).
Gregg is South African by birth, but has lived in London since 1992. He is married with four children (aged five to eleven); his recreational interests include endurance sports (cycling, running, triathlon and adventure racing) and cooking.
