Courses - Payroll
We are one of the few training providers to offer the AAT Payroll Administration qualification, and the only provider to offer this qualification for free under the Apprenticeship scheme. The course is a paper based distance learning option. Its flexible format allows you to study whenever and wherever you want, with tutor support via phone and email when you need it.
The qualification is a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). There are two levels: NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3.
Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are needed; however, basic literacy and numeracy are required. The AAT has created an online skills check that will test your knowledge and understanding. Depending on your score, it will guide you towards the appropriate entry level. Visit www.aat.org.uk/payroll

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by a combination of skills tests, exams and a mixture of work place evidence.
What qualification will I get once I’ve finished the course?
You will be awarded the AAT Payroll Administration NVQ level 2 or NVQ level 3 depending on the level studied. You can then progress onto the AAT Accounting Qualification.
