We have delivered AAT accountancy training for over 10 years, with the majority of BPP students achieving above the AAT worldwide average. Whether you are already working in an accounting role or looking to this field for career options, the AAT Accountancy qualification is ideal to give you the skills to competently carry out an accounting role.
To maximise your success we recommend you follow our Steps to Success, which will encourage you to take a structured approach to your exams, giving you the knowledge and tools to succeed.

When planning your course it’s worth considering following these steps. In our experience, BPP students who follow these steps consistently achieve better pass marks.
Anyone can take the Diploma Pathway. This route has been created for people of all ages, whether you are working in an accounts related role or not.
Although anyone can follow the NVQ route it is most suited to you if you already work in a finance related role. You will need to put together an accounting portfolio, which is a record of relevant work experience gained in accountancy and can be used to claim competency in some skills test units.
This route is also suitable if you are between 16 and 22 years old as you can study under our apprenticeship scheme.
On successful completion of the qualification you will be awarded with the AAT Accounting Qualification.
The AAT has created an online skills check that will test your knowledge and understanding. Depending on your score, it will guide you towards the appropriate entry level. Visit www.aatskillcheck.org
The diagram below shows each level and the units to be completed.
We suggest if you are following the Diploma pathway you take unit 15 after you have completed unit 6. This unit will provide you with a good base of knowledge which will help you with completing unit 15.
You will be assessed by a combination of skills tests, exams and a mixture of workplace evidence.
